Your Instructor

Sonia Lidington (Owner)

My career in the fitness industry began in 1984 with Les Mills. I started Progressive Pilates in 2001 and changed my focus and direction in the health and fitness industry. My passion had always been movement and teaching. As I aged, I felt the drive to find a program that fulfilled this passion as well as benefit my physical and mental wellbeing and Pilates did that for me.

  • "I've been attending Pilates classes at Progressive Pilates since 2001 - it is the best studio in town! Small classes allow the instructors to spend time with each client throughout the classes, to ensure your technique is correct, and they challenge you to push yourself to your limits (and sometimes beyond!)"
